Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated 1st Officer Navigator (Bridge Manager) to join Royal Caribbean Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe navigational watch at sea and in port while ensuring the highest standards of navigation, safety, security, environmental compliance, and guest experience. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain safe bridge watchkeeping operations at sea and in port. - Execute and monitor voyage plans and navigational procedures. - Coordinate bridge team activities and ensure compliance with company standards. - Oversee voyage planning, chart corrections, and navigational publications. - Monitor weather conditions and vessel stability. - Manage bridge equipment maintenance, testing, and reporting of defects. - Support the Captain and Staff Captain in navigational, operational, and communication matters. - Supervise and mentor deck officers, quartermasters, and cadets. - Participate in safety drills, training programs, and emergency preparedness activities. - Ensure full compliance with maritime regulations and company policies. Qualifications: - Valid STCW certification. - Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) A-II/2. - Previous experience in a senior deck officer position, preferably onboard passenger vessels. - Strong knowledge of navigation, voyage planning, bridge resource management (BRM), and maritime regulations. - Experience with ECDIS, electronic navigation systems, and voyage planning software. - Coast Guard and Port State Control experience is considered an advantage. Physical & Language Requirements: - Physically and medically fit for sea service. - Fluent English, both written and spoken. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
