Maris Recruitment RO Group SRL, acting as the local crewing agent for Oldendorff Carriers, is seeking experienced Chief Engineers to join an ASD Towing Tug operating in Indonesia. The successful candidate must be capable of independently managing the vessel's machinery and technical operations, troubleshooting faults effectively, and maintaining the vessel to a high operational and safety standard. Strong communication and reporting skills are equally important. The project office must be kept fully informed of the vessel's technical condition, enabling potential issues to be identified early and corrective or preventative action to be taken before they develop into operational problems. Vessel Information: - Vessel Type: ASD Conventional Towing Tug - Flag: Liberia - Year Built: 2008 - Gross Tonnage: 140 GT - Main Engine Power: 2,102 kW - Main Engine: Caterpillar 3512B - Trading Area: Batam Island, Indonesia Contract Terms: - Salary: 10,100 USD NET / month - Rotation: 3 months on / 3 months off - Contract Duration: 3 months - Bonus scheme including re-joining bonus Joining Date: Position available from the end of September 2026. Exact joining dates will be confirmed during the recruitment process, based on the candidate's availability and the vacancies available for the relevant vessel type.
