Information about the job: - Job Title: Bevelling Machine Operator. - Project: Offshore Project. - Location: Worldwide. - Rotation: 56/28 days on/off or 112/28 days on/off. - Contract duration: 12 months (renewable). - Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid on board only. - Start date: Approximately February/March 2026. - Insurance: Provided by the Company. - Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor. Requirements/Qualifications/Competence: - At least 1 year of experience working with industrial beveling machinery. - Strong working knowledge of hydraulic-driven equipment. - Capable of operating a lathe for machining tasks. - Skilled in the safe operation of grinders for metal preparation. - Proficiency in English. Tasks: - Run the beveling machine during offshore pipelay work under direction of the Welding Foreman. - Produce accurate and consistent pipe bevels in line with job specifications and welding procedures. - Follow approved work instructions and operating guidelines. - Ensure production targets for quality and output are achieved and provide clear handover documentation. - Maintain a clean, organized work area and support environmental best practices. - Adhere to environmental and safety rules at all times. - Perform mechanical work involving rotating machinery and assist with equipment repairs when necessary. - Wear and apply PPE correctly and ensure safe machine operation based on manufacturer recommendations. - Take part in toolbox briefings, Job Safety Analysis discussions, and routine safety meetings. - Support the development of new personnel by explaining beveling processes and work routines.
