We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of 2nd Engineer to work on board a Container Vessel. Joining Date: Beginning / Middle 2026. Exact joining dates will be confirmed during the recruitment process, depending on candidate availability and vessel vacancies. Company offers: - Competitive salary - Bonus scheme - Possibilities for career development - Stable employment - Contract Duration: 4 Months (+/-1) Vessel details: - Type: Container Vessel - Built: 2024 - KW: 14,737 kW - DWT: 27,948 - GT: 27,145 T - TEUs: 2,300 - Main Engines: MAN 6G60ME-C10.5, T-II - Location: Worldwide Responsibilities: - Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the engine department. - Supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of the main engine, auxiliary engines and other machinery. - Ensure compliance with the planned maintenance system, safety procedures and environmental regulations. - Supervise engine room personnel and maintain accurate technical records. - Troubleshoot machinery defects and ensure reliable engine room operations.
