Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on a General Cargo vessel trading worldwide. Take full charge of the engine department and keep all machinery running safely and efficiently. - Key responsibilities: - Lead and supervise the engine room team - Operate, maintain and repair main engine, auxiliaries and all machinery - Plan and carry out preventive maintenance - Monitor fuel, lube oil and spare parts consumption and ordering - Ensure safe engine room operations and compliance with company and statutory rules - Keep engine room logs, records and reports up to date - Requirements: - Valid Chief Engineer license for seagoing vessels - Experience as C/E or 2/E on cargo vessels - Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness - Good English communication skills - Strong leadership, teamwork and safety mindset
