Fair Spirit Shipping is URGENTLY looking for a 2nd Officer for the methanol-powered / methanol dual-fuel bunker tanker Fair Spirit — reportedly the world's first IMO II chemical bunker tanker of this kind. Candidates must have previous tanker experience, with bunker tanker experience considered an advantage. They should have served on vessels equipped with diesel-electric propulsion and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and must hold a valid Advanced Chemical Tanker Certificate. As the vessel is dual-fuel, approved candidates will need to obtain an Advanced IGF Certificate. Salary: EUR — negotiable. Contract: 3 months on / 3 months off rotation. Expected joining date: mid-August. Joining port / current operation: Ceuta, Spain.
