Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on an LNG tanker trading out of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Work with an experienced crew, keep the vessel safe and shipshape, and grow your tanker experience in a professional and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities - Carry out mooring and unmooring operations safely - Handle cargo and deck equipment as instructed by officers - Perform lookout duties and helm watch as required - Assist with routine maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning - Follow all safety procedures and participate in drills - Support bunkering and cargo operations on LNG tanker Requirements - Valid AB Certificate and STCW documents - Previous experience as AB, preferably on tankers (LNG experience an advantage) - Valid seafarer medical and tanker familiarization/basic tanker certificate - Good English communication skills - Fit for deck work and willing to follow safety and company procedures
