We are looking for an experienced Master (CPT) with Norwegian PEC to sail on an self-offloading general cargo vessel trading in Norway. You will have full command of the vessel, crew, and operations, ensuring safe and efficient voyages in coastal waters. Job Information - 12,000 USD consolidated monthly (can be negotiated with the right candidate). - Duration of contract: 2 months on/off. - Joining date: ASAP. Qualification / Requirements / Competence - Experienced Master on similar position with Norwegian PEC Certificate or Experienced C/O willing to be promoted with valid PEC certificate on hands. - Strong coastal navigation experience, preferably in Norwegian waters. - Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness. - Good English communication skills; Scandinavian language skills are an advantage. Key Responsibilities - Overall command of the vessel and crew. - Safe navigation and ship handling in coastal waters. - Compliance with flag state, class, and company procedures. - Cargo planning, stability, and safe cargo operations. - Leading safety drills and maintaining a strong safety culture. - Voyage planning, reporting, and communication with office and authorities.
