Officers to maintain and repair the Air Conditioning and refrigeration systems. Working as part of the small refrigeration Team under the guidance of the Chief Refrigeration Officer you will play a vital part in ensuring our ship stays cool so sour guests can enjoy their Fun and memorable vacations! Responsibilities and Tasks: - Support the Refrigeration Officer in the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel's Ventilation and Air Condition and refrigeration systems - Performs elementary mechanical tasks. - Assist the Refrigeration Officer in the execution of the maintenance and routine testing of equipment, instrument, and automation - Ensure that all aspects of our occupational health and safety programs are effectively applied - Ensure all aspects of the company's global (HESS-MS) Health, Environment, Safety and - Security Management System are effectively applied during his/her working activities - Performs on-call duties as per the department rotation. - Participate in drills and training as required by the company - Complete additional assignments depending on shipboard operations Qualifications and competence: - Minimum 12-18 months proven experience working with AC/HVAC systems - High School Diploma, Technical training in AC/HVAC - Basic Training Certificates as per STCW standard - English language proficiency - Strong focus on ships safety management - Ability to work well with a team - US Visa C1/D - Covid 19 Certificate Additionally it is preferred, however not required, with shipboard experience in same capacity onboard cruise ships.
