Join OSM Thome as Electrician (ELEC) on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be responsible for keeping all electrical and electronic systems on board in safe and reliable working condition. Key Responsibilities - Maintain, repair and troubleshoot all electrical equipment and systems - Carry out regular inspections of motors, switchboards, lighting and power systems - Support maintenance of navigation, communication and engine control systems - Ensure safe work practices and proper use of tools and test equipment - Keep records of maintenance, repairs and spare parts used Requirements - Relevant Electro-Technical / Electrician license and certificates in line with STCW - Previous sea service as Electrician, preferably on bulk carriers - Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems - Good English communication skills - Medically fit for sea duty and willing to work in a worldwide trade
